Not all description added as yet, and the pics are still in original size, so they aren't download friendly...... Still working on the site... Patience! Most of the work I did myself, when I got tired Nate was there to help! Widening the the manifold bolt holes was done at the shop in paddock. (name on the home page). The rest was all home done!
The original (well not really, I had already put on headers and an
intake)
Day 1 (15-Apr-08)
Day 2 (16-Apr-08)
Now on to the engine!
Day 1 (22-April-08) - Removal of Headers and cutting the down pipe
Day 2 (Turbo mounting Headaches)
Day 3 (Had to break for exams....)
Day 3 (Oil Pan removal....)
After mounting the oil pan and connecting the oil return line, it was time to rill the engine with oil and coolant. After that, prime the turbo by removing the connection to the distributor, then tumbling the engine three or four times. Then reconnecting the wires to the distributer.
An then finally running the engine, check for oil and water leaks, then bring the engine up to normal temp. After that one rev then two then three. Stop and check for leaks.
Finally it was off to First Class Mufflers to get my down pipe welded to the CAT and to get the barrel re-installed. Luckily for me, Bro, was there to carry the CAT attached to the barrel whole and intact, hanging out of a Feroza.
Yup it was a loud noisy ride to the shop.
